降りやまない光や雨
いつかわたしは
みじかい言葉
こぼれては消えた
Once I was the brand-new sounds,
endless shine or rain, and
the words that scattered and vanished.
譜面にできない雨やさえずりがあった。弾けもしないのに鍵盤へ指をおろした。それがわたしたちの音。
窓の外で誰かがひとを呼び、べつの誰かがそれに答えた。それがわたしたちの声。
あどけない嘘をついた。言おうとしたことを言いそびれた。それがわたしたちの言葉。
芝草を踏みたくて、わたしたちは道をそれる。
約束もなしに、あなたと出会う。
You heard the rainfall or birds singing. You pressed the piano keys though you cannnot play it. That's our sound.
You heard someone called someone out of the window, and someone answered it. That's our voice.
You told trivial lies. You tried to say something, but you forgot it. That's our words.
We walk the unusual way to step on grasses, and meet you without any promises.
